Originally trained and qualified as a Mechanical Engineer with an upbringing and strong influence of Grandfather/Joiner and Father/Master craftsman my business has made its own identity since I left Engineering for University.
Four years of study in fine craftsmanship and furniture design initially saw me restart life as a cabinetmaker.

Starting in 1996 on my own it soon became clear that there was a need in my clients for the business as it is today.
In 2000 the new Millennium prompted the creation of
DS Restoration.
I cover all aspects of your property from a bespoke design and make service through to maintain, restore, repair. Project management is a natural extension of my work with other independent craftsmen from the differing trades within the team.
